Clock design

Our Avondale is one of our Grandfather Clocks from our fine Italian line. It has been intricatly hand carved in Italy in the same honored tradtion that has been used for many generations. There is not a better quality cabinet available on the market today. The clock is made of solid Walnut and again, the carving is all done by hand. The finish is applied by hand, enhancing the fine details of the wood.

Clock face is in brass with black Roman numerals on a porcelain background.  The solid brass dial depicts hour, and minute.

  German movement

The movement has eight-day chain-wind weight-driven features that play the world's most famous chimes, the chimes of Westminster, Whittington, and St.Michael's.
