This grandfather clock is shown on the left in solid cherry with our original hand rubbed Sheffield  Cherry  finish or the classic American Oak with a golden oak finish on right. Also available in either a Black Lacquer a White Lacquer finish, or a
French Cream Lacquer finish.   

German Mechanical Movement

Clockworks by Hermle: triple chime cable-wind number 1161: Westminster, Whittington, and St. Michael.   Automatic night off feature  shuts chimes off @ 10:00 PM & turns them back on @ 7:00 AM.   Click here for  information about clockworks.

Brass Dial

Clock face is in brass with raised Arabic numerals and has moving moon phase feature.  The solid brass dial depicts hour, minute, and second hand.

Clock Design

The Brierwood Estate grandfather clock is a ornate piece which features a full pediment accented with hand crafted carvings framing the Carpathian Elm Burl.  Substantial reeded & fluted columns accent both side and frontal view of cabinet.   In addition a Bombay Styled base provides identical carving matching the hand carved lower door & full pediment.   A full mirror in the back is complemented by a interior light. All glass is beveled top, bottom and sides. The clock has side access doors accented with beveled glass.   Weight shells are polished brass. Classic lyre pendulum is 11" wide and made of polished brass.
